Run your prop desk

Short answer

On Pro, open Accounts and pick Prop desk. Each prop account is a tile, the one closest to a limit first. Log challenge fees, resets and payouts under Fees and payouts to see per firm whether you're ahead.

Prop desk on Pro only. Basic keeps every prop account's card and meters.

The prop desk is for running several prop-firm accounts at once. It's part of Pro. Once you have a prop account, Accounts has three tabs: Prop desk, Own accounts and Archived. Set up your accounts explains how to add a prop account and its rules.

Every prop account in one view

Open Accounts and pick Prop desk. Each live prop account is a tile. The account closest to one of its limits comes first, so the one to be careful with is on top.

Each tile shows:

  • Room today: what you can still lose today before the daily loss limit.
  • Room to the floor: how far the account is from its max drawdown floor. With a static drawdown, profit adds room, so this can be more than the limit itself.
  • Profit target: how much of the target the account has made.

The figures are as of your last logged trade. Vink doesn't connect to your broker or firm, so a trade you haven't logged yet isn't in them. Your firm's own dashboard stays the final word.

To change an account's rules, click the settings wheel on its tile.

Rotate which account trades next

A rotation is a set of accounts you take turns on. Under Trade rotation, click Start a rotation, then set the rotation on each account that's in it. Beside the tiles, each rotation shows Take the next trade on and the account whose turn it is. When you log a trade on that account, the turn moves to the next one. The tile of the next account is marked Next.

You can keep several rotations, for example one for your challenges and another for your funded accounts.

Fees and payouts

Beside the tiles, Fees and payouts shows per firm what you paid, what you received, and the net. Click Add or See all to log an entry:

  1. Pick What it was: Challenge fee, Reset, Payout or Fee refunded.
  2. Enter the Amount, the Currency and the Date.
  3. Pick the Account it belongs to, or None, the firm only. Leave Firm empty and Vink uses the account's broker or prop firm.
  4. Optionally add a Note, then save.

A challenge that becomes a verification and then a funded account is one chain, so its fees and payouts add up under one firm. Each currency is added up on its own; Vink doesn't convert between them.

Fees and payouts are kept apart from your trading. A payout doesn't change an account's P&L, drawdown, target or stats.

On Basic, or when Pro ends

On Basic, every prop account keeps its own card with its target, floor and daily limit, and the Prop desk tab shows those cards. Rotations and fees and payouts need Pro.

If you move from Pro to Basic, or your plan ends, the fees and payouts you logged stay. You can still read them, delete them and export them. Adding and changing them needs Pro.
