Short answer

Stats answers seven questions from your own trades, in R. Each closed fold shows the answer and a chip that says how sure it is. Open a fold to see the figures behind it. All numbers holds every figure in the unit you pick.

Stats is a sheet of folds. Each fold asks one question about your trading, and its closed line already gives the answer. Open a fold to see the figures behind it. Every fold starts closed, and Open all opens them together.

The chips

Each answer carries a chip that says how sure the number is:

  • Too early: fewer than 10 trades in that group.
  • Not proven: there's a result, but it could still be chance.
  • Clear: the result holds up.

Findings

The first fold, What is worth looking at?, reads all your trades, whatever period or filter you picked. It lists the things that stand out, the costliest first. It also shows the focus you're working on from your last weekly review.

The seven questions

The questions read the trades you took in the period, and answer in R.

  1. Do I have an edge? Your equity in R, your win rate against your payoff, and your expectancy. Under 10 trades the answer is Too early to tell.
  2. Is this drawdown normal? Vink reshuffles your own results a thousand times to show the deepest drawdown and the longest losing streak that are normal for you. It needs 30 trades.
  3. Where does my edge come from, and where does it leak? Your results split by setup, symbol, hour, weekday, direction, timeframe or mistake. Under Your fields you can split by your own fields, and Word compares trades whose notes contain a word. Groups with fewer than 10 trades are gray.
  4. How do I manage a trade? How long you hold winners and losers, winners closed before the target, and losses that ran past the stop.
  5. How do I behave? The trade right after a loss, your first, second and third trade of the day, whether you followed your plan, and your size after a win or a loss.
  6. How does my mind move my results? How you rated your mornings in the mental journal against how those days went, counted in days, and the trade after a tilt check.
  7. What if I changed one thing? Single rules tried on your past trades, with the difference in R. It's hindsight, not a recommendation. Click Make this my focus to turn one into the focus your next review counts.

If you wrote a trading plan, Do I keep my plan? appears after the fifth question, with each rule kept and broken, and the average R of both.

All numbers

The last fold holds every figure: net P&L, total R, return, win rate, expectancy, profit factor, and the tabs Overview, Distribution, Excursion, Symbols, Time & news, Tags and Mental. Unlike the questions, it follows the unit you pick. The glossary explains each figure.

Change what Stats reads

At the top of the page:

  • P&L, R or % picks the unit for All numbers, and Vink remembers your choice.
  • Taken, Missed or All picks the trades. Missed shows only setups you never took, and hides the seven questions. All mixes taken and missed trades.
  • This wk, 7D, 30D, All or Custom picks the period.
  • The filters below narrow every figure on the page: direction, outcome, ticker, weekday, News day, Tags and Mental.

Stats reads the account you have selected in the app. Share a report card makes a card of your stats to share.

Sleep, energy and stress

This is off until you switch it on.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Under Mental journal, switch on Track sleep, energy and stress.

Your morning plan then asks three questions, from 1 to 10: How well did you sleep?, How much energy do you have? and How stressed do you feel?. The sixth question on Stats shows each one against how that day went.

These ratings can count as health information. Vink uses them only for these statistics. They're never shown to an accountability partner and never sent to the AI. Switching the setting off deletes every rating you saved.
