The Vink routine

Vink works best as a short routine around your trading day. None of it is required, and each step takes a few minutes. Set up your accounts and your trading plan once, then follow these five steps.

Before the session: Plan

Open Mental journal and fill in Before session. Rate how you feel from 1 to 10, pick the emotions that fit, and write your plan in Plan. Vink asks one question there: what would make you stop? Click Save day.

The dashboard shows today's high-impact news for the currencies you follow. The full list is in News calendar.

After each trade: Log it

Click New trade and drop the screenshot of your chart. Vink reads the trade off the chart and fills in the form. Check the fields it filled, add your tags under Setups, Went well, Mistakes and Facts, and click Save trade. Get a good chart reading, and fix a wrong one explains the check.

A setup you saw and didn't take goes in too: switch the form to Missed it. Missed trades stay apart from your results, so Stats can show what passing on them did.

If you wrote a trading plan, Vink checks each trade against its rules and tells you in a small note in the corner when a rule was broken.

After the session: Debrief

Go back to Mental journal and fill in After session. Rate how you feel now, write what happened in Debrief, and note anything to remember from today. If you're working on a focus from your last review, Vink asks whether you kept it today.

Once a week: Review

Open Review and click Start a review. Vink fills in what stood out in your week, how you kept your plan, the trades worth a second look and the mental half. You write three answers:

1. Keep: what went well and should happen again.
2. Change: what you'll do differently.
3. One focus for next week: the single thing you work on.

Click Save review. The focus carries into next week: it shows in your debrief every day, and the next review starts by asking whether you kept it.

To get a reminder, go to Settings, then Notifications, then Review reminders. Vink can email you at 8:00 in the morning, your time, or show a banner in the app.

When you want answers: Stats

Stats answers seven questions from your own trades, starting with "Do I have an edge?" and ending with "What if I changed one thing?". Each answer carries a chip that says how sure the number is: Too early under 10 trades, Clear when the result holds up, and Not proven when it could still be chance.
