HelpWhen something looks wrong
I can't sign in
Short answer
Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page and Vink emails you a link to set a new password. If you signed up with Google or Apple, use that button, or set a password the same way. The link works once and for one hour.
"Invalid email or password."
Check the email address first. Vink says the same thing when the address has no account, when the password is wrong, and when the account has no password because you signed up with Google or Apple.
To set a new password:
- On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?.
- Type your email and click Send reset link.
- Open the email and click Reset password.
- Type a new password of at least 12 characters, twice, and click Reset password.
The link works once and for one hour. Asking again replaces the earlier link. Resetting your password signs you out everywhere else.
You signed up with Google or Apple
Click Continue with Google or Continue with Apple on the sign-in page. Use the same Google or Apple account you signed up with.
To sign in with your email too, click Forgot password?. Vink emails you a Set password button.
"Too many attempts."
After too many tries in a short time, Vink pauses sign-in for a few minutes. Wait, then try again. Your account isn't locked, and nothing else changes.
Your confirmation link doesn't work
A confirmation link works once and for 24 hours. If it expired, sign in and click Resend email.
You're stuck at two-step login
If you can't use your authenticator app or passkey, click Use a recovery code. Turn on two-step login explains what to do if you lost both your phone and your codes. Resetting your password doesn't skip two-step login.
None of this works
Write to Vink through the contact form and say which email address your account uses.
