I have traded since 2021, mostly forex, both on prop-firm accounts and my own capital. I built Vink because the journal I actually wanted did not exist. I was keeping trades in a spreadsheet, retyping every field off a chart I had just been staring at, and skipping the entries that mattered most on the days I least felt like typing. The record always had a hole in it exactly where the interesting trades were.
So Vink starts from the screenshot you already have and fills the ticket in from it, keeps the mental side of a trade next to the prices instead of in a separate diary nobody rereads, and measures everything in R so trades of different sizes actually compare. It is a trading journal for prop-firm and retail traders, and it tries to stay honest about what it can and cannot measure rather than overclaiming.
On this blog I write about the things that changed how I trade: keeping a journal you will actually maintain, understanding the drawdown rule your prop firm scores you on, and turning a pile of past trades into one change a week. No signals, no hype, just the working method.
